If you are of a certain age, you may remember a short-lived situation-comedy called, "It's about Time." Don't worry if you don't, as many of my friends peer at me warily when I mention it. I've been known to rattle off the theme song as if it were on the telly last night, and it has been fifty years since it aired! Eee ghad!
At the EIM, the theme this week is wormhole, a theoretical space-time construct that would allow travel across the universe. So, if we're talking time travel, let's start by going back to 1967:

In different news, what has been captivating my time is making woobies. Through a friend, I found out a clinic at Luke Air Force Base has been looking for blankies. I have a stack almost ready to deliver. I'm so happy they can put these to good use.
Keeping these fingers VERY BUSY! It's not like I have work to do! HA!

You know that people also make scrubbers using shower scrubbies and knitting them together! So worth it. I will be emailing you very soon about the towels. Take care my friend

ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy! A woobie is just another name for a baby blanket, a blankie, a lovie, what child psychologists clinically and antiseptically call a security object (blah!). Every kid, no matter their age, should have one.

Well, I found the answers to a lot of questions that popped up in my mind as I read your post. I'm sorry about your wrist. Those kind of thing can certainly mess up your life. And, I didn't know what a woobie was either. As far as that inchie, no, I don't remember it, but admire your thought process in using it for wormhole. And, those are fun coasters too!

I knit dish cloths too for christmas presents - apparently they are good for scrubbing floors!
